Investment Terms for Accelerator
We want to work with the best start-ups in the world, which is why our investment terms are among the most start-up friendly around.
We do not ask start-ups for any equity for joining the accelerator programme. Instead, we ask that you are open to receiving investment from us where we see that we can add value as a long-term partner. Following the accelerator, we ask that you let us know if you are raising capital and to provide us with the same information as other investors in order to assess the investment opportunity.
We ask participants to allow us to invest alongside other investors on the same terms and price for any round within two years of the programme. We support businesses of various stages of growth, so the actual amount invested will vary, but we ask you to offer Hangar 51 20% of the value of the funding round, with a minimum cheque size of €250,000. We will talk to you about the most appropriate figure, and we will endeavour to let you know in good time if we decide to pass on the opportunity so as not to delay your fundraising plans. We can also discuss convertible notes in order to get you to your next round.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
